The H6/7 Hygienist Scaler is designed for tight proximal surfaces, removal of supragingival calculus for all tooth surfaces, and the edge of the gum. Also used for removal of filling and cement excesses, subgingival calculus, smooth rough root surfaces (root planning), and diseased soft tissue lining of the periodontal pocket (soft tissue curettage).
