Advanced Live Surgery Patient Selection Guide

An ideal patient for the Live Surgery procedure will meet the following criteria:


   1. No Bleeding Concerns, History Radiation Tx, Fosamax (medical history form provided)
   2. Patient who can Tolerate Long Procedures
   3. Patient who can Open Wide
   4. No Aesthetic Concerns/Adequate Attached Gingiva
   5. No Immediate Placement
   6. Sinus Lift Surgery
        a. Minimum 3mm residual bone height to Sinus
        b. Minimum 6mm interproximal (buccal-palatal) width at the crest
   7. Guided Surgery
        a. Minimum 11mm distance to mandibular nerve
        b. Minimum 6mm buccolingual width at the crest
   8. Opposing dentition or denture teeth with proper position or implant prosthesis
   9. Adjacent teeth present, plan to stay with good prognosis
   10. Extraction site 6+ months after grafting

Please bring the following for Final Case Review:

   A. CBCT
   B. Upper and lower models (mount if Hand Articulation is not possible)
   C. Questions about drilling sequence/suturing
